ARRL Field Day 2026 RECAP
- MCARA and Martin County ARES/RACES successfully participated in ARRL Field Day 2026.
- The event was operated using K4ZK as the primary station and WX4MC as the Get On The Air (GOTA) station.
- More than 1,000 contacts were made during the 24-hour event.
- Operators demonstrated emergency communications using portable amateur radio stations.
- The GOTA station introduced new operators and visitors to amateur radio.
- We welcomed many visitors from throughout Martin County and the Treasure Coast.
- Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with setup, operating, food, and teardown.
- Field Day was a great opportunity to practice emergency preparedness, showcase amateur radio, and enjoy fellowship with the community.
